Tlalocohyla smithii, commonly known as the dwarf Mexican tree frog, is a species of frog in the Hylidae family that is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, intermittent rivers, and intermittent freshwater marshes. Its distribution extends from central Sinaloa south along the Pacific lowlands to southern Oaxaca, and extends inland into the Balsas-Tepalcatepec Basin of the states of Guerrero, Morelos, and Puebla. It occurs at elevations ranging from sea level up to 1,332 meters.
