About Tibellus oblongus (Walckenaer, 1802)

Tibellus oblongus (Walckenaer, 1802) is commonly known as the oblong running spider or the slender crab spider. This spider has a Holarctic distribution. It lives in grassy habitats, and can be preyed on by larger spiders, including the wolf spider species Hogna baltimoriana.
