Scientific name: Tibellus maritimus (Menge, 1875)

Identification: Tibellus maritimus can be reliably told apart from similar species including T. oblongus and T. asiaticus by the fact that it lacks two dark spots on the dorsal side of its abdomen. Within the Canadian part of this species' range, T. maritimus is the only Tibellus species that does not have these two dark spots.
