Thurberiphaga is a monotypic moth genus belonging to the family Noctuidae. This genus was first formally erected by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1920, and it contains only one recognized species: Thurberiphaga diffusa. This species was originally described by William Barnes in 1904. Thurberiphaga diffusa is found exclusively in southern Arizona, located in the United States. The caterpillar stage of this moth bores into the stems of its host plant. The caterpillar is pinkish in color and covered with rough setae.
