Thunbergia fragrans Roxb., commonly called whitelady, is a perennial climbing twiner that belongs to the family Acanthaceae. It is native to South and Southeast Asia as well as China. This species has also been widely introduced to other tropical and subtropical regions, including Florida, Hawaii, Australia, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, the Caribbean, Indian Ocean islands, southern Africa, and Central America. It is classified as an invasive species in many of these introduced areas.
