About Thudaca campylota Meyrick, 1892
Thudaca campylota is a species of moth belonging to the family Depressariidae. This species was described by Edward Meyrick in 1893. It is native to Australia, with confirmed records of it occurring in Western Australia. This moth has a wingspan ranging from 17 to 18 mm. Its forewings are snow white, marked with bright orange markings that are partially edged with blackish. The costal edge of the forewing is blackish near the base, and a moderate streak runs immediately beneath the costa from the base to the costa just before the apex. A somewhat irregular subdorsal streak runs from the base to almost the anal angle. A transverse streak extends from the two-thirds point of the subcostal streak to the middle of the subdorsal streak, forming an obtuse-angled zigzag at its center. There is also a straight, rather irregular-edged streak running from the tip of the subcostal streak to the tip of the subdorsal streak. Blackish scales are present along the hindmargin of the forewing. The hindwings of this moth are light grey.
