About Thrinaphe hargeri Shelley, 1993

Thrinaphe is a robust xystodesmid millipede. Its body has an overall brown base color, and its tergites have a slight bluish tinge. The paranota originate very low on the tergites and are strongly depressed, which gives the millipede a cylindrical shape when viewed from above. Based on observations from iNaturalist, Thrinaphe hargeri lacks any aposematic coloration on its paranota and has an overall uniform color.
