The swamp palm bulbul, with the scientific name Thescelocichla leucopleura (Cassin, 1855), is a species of songbird that belongs to the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Thescelocichla. This bird's range extends from Senegal and Gambia to the north-eastern and central Democratic Republic of the Congo, and into northern Angola. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, and moist savanna.
