Thecadactylus solimoensis Bergmann & Russell, 2007 is a species of gecko that was first formally described in 2007. It is frequently misidentified and confused with Thecadactylus rapicauda, commonly known as the turnip-tailed gecko. This species occurs at elevations ranging from 120 to 200 meters (390 to 660 feet) above sea level. Its distribution covers Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, southern Colombia, and western Brazil, with most of its range located within the headwaters of the Amazon river system.
