The goldbar wrasse, scientifically known as Thalassoma hebraicum, is a species of wrasse native to the western Indian Ocean. It lives in reef environments at depths ranging from 1 to 30 meters (3.3 to 98.4 feet). This species can reach a maximum total length of 23 centimeters (9.1 inches). It is fished by local traditional fisheries and is also available in the aquarium trade.
