The sunset wrasse, scientifically named Thalassoma grammaticum Gilbert, 1890, is a species of wrasse. This species is native to the eastern Pacific Ocean, and its range extends from Mexico to Peru. It lives on reefs at depths between 3 meters (9.8 feet) and 42 meters (137.8 feet). The maximum recorded total length of this fish is 32 centimeters (13 inches).
