Tetratheca neglecta Joy Thomps. is a shrub that grows either compact or spreading in form, reaching a height of 15 to 60 cm. It bears solitary deep lilac-pink flowers, with petals measuring 5 to 10 mm in length; flowering occurs from August to November. This species grows in sandy heath and dry sclerophyll forest habitats in the Sydney district of eastern New South Wales, with its range extending south as far as Robertson.
