Tenthredopsis friesei (Konow, 1884) is a species of sawfly. Males of this species reach a body length of 10 to 11 millimetres (0.39 to 0.43 inches), while females reach a body length of 9 to 12 millimetres (0.35 to 0.47 inches). Adult sawflies are active from May to June, where they feed on nectar and pollen. The larvae of this species feed on Holcus mollis. This species of sawfly is distributed primarily across Austria, Belgium, the British Isles, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, and Switzerland.
