Palpi are whitish-yellow; the base of the second joint and the terminal joint, excluding its base, are dark fuscous. Antennae are yellow-whitish, turning dark fuscous towards the base. The thorax is ochreous-yellow. The abdomen is light ochreous yellowish, and sprinkled with grey. Legs are light ochreous-yellowish; the anterior and middle pairs are suffusedly banded with grey.
Forewings are elongate-oblong, with a moderately arched costa, obtuse apex, and a faintly sinuate, oblique hindmargin. Forewings are ochreous-yellow, with two very broad deep purple fasciae, which are obscurely margined with dark fuscous. The first fascia is almost basal, with a slightly convex outer edge. The second fascia is hindmarginal, with a rather strongly convex anterior edge. The forewing cilia are ochreous-yellow, purple-fuscous on the costa, and marked with a broad deep purple bar at the anal angle. Hindwings have stalked veins 6 and 7, and are rather dark fuscous-grey. Hindwing cilia are pale ochreous-yellowish, with a grey line near the base above the apex.
