About Teius oculatus (D'Orbigny & Bibron, 1837)
Teius oculatus is a species of lizard. Its distribution covers southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, and central and eastern Argentina. It is a common species that lives in the humid Chaco, Espinal, Paranaense, subtropical dry forest, and Pampean grassland habitats. This species reproduces via oviparity.
