Tectaria zeilanica, commonly known as the oak leaf fern, is a fern species belonging to the family Tectariaceae. This species is native to Sri Lanka, India, the Indochina region that includes southern China and Vietnam, and Taiwan. It is a small fern, producing erect fertile fronds, while its sterile fronds have a shape matching that of small oak leaves. The scientific name of this species is frequently misspelled as zeylanica. The name was originally published as zeilanica, and this original spelling cannot be corrected as an error under the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants.
