About Tathorhynchus exsiccata (Lederer, 1853)
Scientific name: Tathorhynchus exsiccata (Lederer, 1853). Technical description and variation: T. exsiccata Led. (= vinctalis Walk.). Forewings are whitish, thickly suffused with grey-brown, and grow darker toward the termen. The orbicular and reniform stigmata are marked by pale spots separated by a black dash; an additional black dash appears beyond the reniform. The outer line is pale, preceded by black marks; there is a terminal row of black lunules. Hindwings are greyish white, and darker toward the terminal edge. This species has a wingspan of about 40 mm.
