Talostolida pellucens (Melvill, 1888) is a species of sea snail, specifically a cowry. It is a marine gastropod mollusc that belongs to the cowry family Cypraeidae. This species currently has two recognized subspecies: Talostolida pellucens panamensis (Lorenz, 2002) and Talostolida pellucens pellucens (Melvill, 1888). Two previously described taxa are now classified as synonyms: Talostolida pellucens jacksoni Daughenbaugh & Beals, 2013 is a synonym of the nominotypical subspecies Talostolida pellucens pellucens (Melvill, 1888), while Talostolida pellucens sumeihoae Daughenbaugh & Beals, 2013 is a synonym of Talostolida pellucens panamensis (Lorenz, 2002). This species can be found in the Mascarene Basin.
