About Takydromus sauteri Van Denburgh, 1909

The dorsal side of Takydromus sauteri is bright green, while the upper lip and belly are white. Its tail is very long, reaching 4.2 times the length of its snout-to-vent measurement (SVL). The species’ preferred natural habitat is forest at altitudes between 900 and 1,000 meters (3,000 and 3,300 feet), but individuals have also been found in gardens and on bushes near human residences. Takydromus sauteri is oviparous, with clutch sizes ranging from 2 to 11 eggs, and evidence suggests the species exhibits delayed fertilization.
