The double-barred finch, with the scientific name Taeniopygia bichenovii (Vigors & Horsfield, 1827), is a munia-like bird that measures 10–11 cm in length. It has a white face outlined by a black border, brown upper body and throat, and white underparts. A second black line separates the throat from the underparts.
