About Syndemis afflictana (Walker, 1863)
Syndemis afflictana, commonly known as the gray leafroller, dead leaf roller, or black-and-gray banded leafroller, is a species of moth belonging to the family Tortricidae. This moth is found in North America. It has been recorded across southern Canada and the northern United States. In western North America, its range extends further south through mountain regions to California. The species also occurs in Florida. Its typical habitat is coniferous forests. Adults have a wingspan that ranges from 18 to 23 mm.
