Synaphe moldavica is a moth species belonging to the family Pyralidae. It was first described by Eugenius Johann Christoph Esper in 1794. This species can be found in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and Iran. Adult individuals have a wingspan ranging from 28 to 30 mm. The larvae of Synaphe moldavica feed on plant species belonging to the grass family Gramineae.
