Synanthedon rileyana, commonly known as the horsenettle borer or Riley's clearwing moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Sesiidae. This species is found in the United States, with recorded occurrences in Arkansas, Arizona, Missouri, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. The wingspan of adult Synanthedon rileyana ranges from 20–23 mm, which equals 0.79–0.91 inches. Adult moths are active from May through September. This species produces several generations each year. The larvae of Synanthedon rileyana feed on Solanum carolinense.
