Synanthedon conopiformis, commonly known as Dale's oak clearwing, is a species of moth belonging to the family Sesiidae. This moth is found across almost all of Europe, with the exception of northern Europe. The wingspan of adult Synanthedon conopiformis ranges from 16 to 19 millimetres. Adult moths are active on the wing from June through August. The larvae of this species feed on three oak species: Quercus robur, Quercus petraea, and Quercus rubra. The larvae bore into the stems of their host oak plants to develop.
