Svenzea zeai is a species of sponge in the family Scopalinidae. It was first described in 1998 under the name Pseudaxinella zeai. Its species epithet zeai honors Colombian spongiologist Sven Zea, who first collected this sponge. It occurs in the West Atlantic Ocean, and is a common sponge found on off-shore reefs in the Caribbean. This species produces the largest embryos and larvae that have been recorded for sponges to date.
