About Stylidium schoenoides DC.
Stylidium schoenoides DC. is a perennial herb that reaches a height between 0.15 and 0.5 meters. Its leaves grow in a rosette arrangement, measure 14 to 35 centimeters long by 1 to 1.8 millimeters wide, and are hairless. Mature plants have additional membranous scale leaves at their base. The flower stalk bears both glandular hairs and long, soft, weak hairs. This species produces white-cream flowers that can be seen from August to November. It grows on sand, sandy loam, and granite substrates, in locations including hillslopes, dunes, and plains, across habitats such as forests, heaths, woodland, and shrublands.
