About Stylidium breviscapum R.Br.
Stylidium breviscapum R.Br. is a dicotyledonous plant species that belongs to the Stylidiaceae family. It grows as a creeping perennial herb, forming compact clumps that reach up to 15 centimetres wide. This species is only found in the southwestern corner of Western Australia. Its preferred habitats are eucalyptus woodland and shrublands. Attractive, colourful flowers of this species bloom in October and November. Stylidium breviscapum was first published in scientific literature in 1839, appearing in Augustin Pyramus de Candolle's Prodromus Systematis Naturalis Regni Vegetabilis.
