Stiphodon percnopterygionus is a goby species first described by Watson and Chen in 1998. It is found in the Asian side of the Pacific Ocean, ranging from the Ryukyu Islands and Taiwan in Asia, eastward out to Guam, the Mariana Islands, and Babelthuap, Palau in the South Pacific. This species reaches a maximum total standard length of 3.7 centimetres, which equals 1.5 inches.
