About Stillingia aquatica Chapm.
Stillingia aquatica Chapm., commonly called water toothleaf and corkwood, is a flowering shrub that belongs to the genus Stillingia in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. This species grows in the Southeastern United States, specifically in portions of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina. It was first described by Alvan Wentworth Chapman in 1860.
