Stigmella heteromelis is a moth species in the family Nepticulidae, first described by Newton & Wilkinson in 1982. This species is found in California, United States. Its wingspan measures between 5 and 6.5 millimeters. The larvae of Stigmella heteromelis feed on plants from the genus Heteromeles, including Heteromeles arbutifolia. Larvae create mines within the leaves of their host plants.
