Stifftia chrysantha J.C.Mikan is a flowering plant species that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is endemic to Brazil. This plant has a woody stem covered in rough bark, and reaches a height of 2.4 to 3.0 meters, or 8 to 10 feet. Its leaves are alternate, entire, smooth, and have reticulate veins. The involucre holds 30 to 40 green, imbricated scales that bear short hairs. Its actinomorphic corollas are pale orange on the lower section and darker on the upper section.
