About Stichodactyla tapetum (Hemprich & Ehrenberg, 1834)

S. tapetum, with the scientific name Stichodactyla tapetum, has characteristic oral discs covered in clustered, bump-shaped tentacles. These tentacle clusters are usually not tightly packed, leaving open areas where the oral disc is visible. The tentacles have rounded tips, which are most often green or brown, though they can also be found in a range of other colors including red, purple, and orange. This species is widespread across the tropical Indo-Pacific, where it occurs in shore and tidepool habitats.
