Sticherus quadripartitus (Poir.) Ching is a fern species native to Chile. Its natural distribution extends from the latitude of Concepción (around 37° S) in the north to the Magallanes Region (around 55° S) in the south, and it also grows in adjacent areas of Argentina and the Juan Fernández Islands. This fern can be found growing from sea level up to 1800 meters above sea level, and it occurs in humid areas that are neither shady nor excessively exposed to direct sunlight.
