About Stereum ochraceoflavum (Schwein.) Sacc.
Stereum ochraceoflavum is a fungal species that produces thin, tough fruiting bodies with very simple spore-producing surfaces. Its underside is dull orange to tan, and its cap is hairy, covered in long white hairs that point toward the cap margin. This fungus grows in groups on dead sticks or branches of hardwood tree species.
