Sphagnum warnstorfii Russow is a species of moss in the Sphagnaceae family, named to honor Carl Warnstorf. It is widely distributed across the Northern Hemisphere. One study that examined the effects of the herbicide Asulam on moss growth found that Sphagnum warnstorfii has intermediate sensitivity to Asulam exposure.
