Sphagnum subsecundum Nees, commonly known as the slender cow-horn bog-moss, is a species of moss that belongs to the family Sphagnaceae. This species gives its name to a group of closely related plants called the Sphagnum subsecundum species complex. The entire species complex has an almost global distribution across wetland habitats. The true Sphagnum subsecundum species itself is found in Europe, eastern North America, and North Africa, specifically in the Dar Fatma peatlands of Tunisia.
