Sphaerium rivicola, commonly known as the river orb mussel, is a species of freshwater bivalve belonging to the family Sphaeriidae. Its native range is restricted to Europe. Within Europe, it occurs in both Bohemia and Moravia in the Czech Republic, where it is classified as endangered. In Germany, it is classified as highly endangered (Stark gefährdet).
