Spathiphyllum cannifolium, commonly called the canna-leaf peace lily or spatheflower – a name it shares with other species in its genus – is a flowering plant species in the family Araceae. It is native to the wet tropical regions of Trinidad, as well as northern and western South America. This clumping perennial grows to 50 cm (20 in) in height and is widely cultivated as a houseplant.
