Spatalia argentina, commonly known as the Argentine, is a species of moth belonging to the family Notodontidae. This moth is distributed across central and southern Europe, extending through Turkey and Iraq as far as Iran. It has a wingspan that measures 35–40 millimetres, which is equal to 1.4–1.6 inches. Depending on its location, Spatalia argentina flies from April to August in two generations per year. The larvae of this species feed primarily on Quercus species, and also feed on Salix and Populus species.
