Sparnopolius confusus (Wiedemann, 1821) is a species of bee flies belonging to the insect family Bombyliidae. Adult individuals of this species measure between 6 and 9 mm in length. This species is distributed across most of the United States and a portion of Mexico. It is documented to act as a parasitoid of June beetles of the genus Phyllophaga.
