The Valais shrew, scientifically named Sorex antinorii Bonaparte, 1840, is a mammal species that belongs to the family Soricidae. Its distribution includes nearly all of Italy, with the exception of southern Apulia. It can also be found in southeastern France and southern Switzerland. This species prefers habitats that have dense vegetation, and it occurs at elevations ranging from 0 to 1,300 metres (0 to 4,265 feet) above sea level.
