About Sorapagus catalaunicus (Bolívar, 1898)
Sorapagus is a monotypic genus of bush crickets that belongs to the tribe Ephippigerini. This genus was formally established by J. Barat in 2012. It contains only one species: Sorapagus catalaunicus, which was originally described by Bolívar in 1898. For a long time before the genus Sorapagus was erected, this single species was classified within the genus Steropleurus.
