Solidago patula, commonly called roundleaf goldenrod or rough-leaved goldenrod, is a species of goldenrod in the genus Solidago, with the accepted scientific name Solidago patula Muhl. ex Willd. This plant is a perennial herb that grows to a maximum height of 5 feet. It is native to most of the eastern United States, ranging as far west as Wisconsin and Texas. It grows primarily in wetland habitats, specifically swamps, fens, and sedge meadows. This species is divided into two subspecies.
