Solidago ohioensis Riddell is a North American plant species in the Asteraceae family, commonly known as Ohio goldenrod. It is primarily found in the Great Lakes region of Canada and the United States, specifically occurring in Ontario, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois. It is a perennial herb that can grow up to 100 cm (39 inches) tall. Its leaves are narrow, reaching up to 25 cm (10 inches) in length. A single plant can produce up to 500 small yellow flower heads arranged in a compact branching cluster at the top of the stem. This species grows in marshes, on sand dunes, and along river banks.
