Description: Plants of Solanum retroflexum Dunal are compact, typically growing to a height of 12–24 inches (30–61 cm), and can produce fruit when they are as small as 4 inches (10 cm) in size. This plant bears small, dark blue-purple edible fruits. Unripe green fruits of this species may be poisonous. Cultivation: This species, commonly known as wonderberry, is an easy-to-grow plant that is cultivated in a similar way to tomatoes. Seeds are sown in summer, in locations with full sun or partial sun. Fruit can be harvested approximately 75 days after sowing.
