Sminthurus mencenbergae is a species of springtail belonging to the genus Sminthurus. It is endemic to the east coast of North America. This species is typically light brown, with dark brown linear patterns that form a two-pronged V along the dorsal line. Its face usually has three stripes: two on the sides and one in the middle. The antennae are 2-3 segmented and slightly spiky. Many individuals also have a dark cross line running through the middle dorsal stripe.
