About Smilisca manisorum (Taylor, 1954)
Smilisca manisorum, commonly known as the masked tree frog, is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is endemic to Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, and Nicaragua, where it inhabits coastal forests. Documented observations of this species have occurred at elevations up to 540 meters above sea level. This taxon was originally classified as a synonym of the common Mexican tree frog, Smilisca baudinii, before being restored to full species status in 2017.
