Smilia fasciata is a treehopper species in the family Membracidae. It was first formally described by Charles Jean-Baptiste Amyot and Jean Guillaume Audinet-Serville in 1843. This species is commonly found throughout the eastern half of the United States. It feeds on most species within the oak genus Quercus.
