Sitana spinaecephalus is a medium-sized species of lizard. Adult males reach an average snout-vent length of 48.5 with a standard deviation of 2.9, while adult females average 44.8 with a standard deviation of 4.2. This species is oviparous. Like other members of the genus Sitana, it feeds primarily on arthropods. When disturbed, males of this species may extend their dewlap to intimidate predators. Males also use their dewlap for communication during the breeding season.
