About Siphonaria pectinata (Linnaeus, 1758)

Siphonaria pectinata, commonly called the striped false limpet, is a species of air-breathing sea snail or false limpet. It is a marine heterobranch gastropod mollusc that belongs to the family Siphonariidae. This species occurs high in the intertidal zone on rocky shores in the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
